Amazon’s President, Joe Galli, who has only been on the job 13 months, is moving to be CEO of VerticalNet. He seems a step behind the fads. He went to Amazon, as B2C began to get less exciting and everyone was talking about B2B. Now, B2B is over (according to the press) and everything is P2P. Well, in a few more months he can move to take over Napster and we’ll all be on to our next something2something.
