So it seems that now PE corp. claims to own the building blocks of DNA and is currently suing Affymetrix. If these patents have any basis (which seems ridiculous as these building blocks are the foundation of all life and of course the biotech industry). Hopefully, they won’t enforce this patent on any other companies in the biotech sector, as they may risk souring the market further.
