Patent for Collecting Info Online

Here’s another potentially silly patent. A company in Florida has received a patent for lead generation. They’re saying that anyone who collects personal information and passes it on to a third party owes them money. I’m not sure I see what the innovation is here. Apparently the patent hasn’t been published yet, so it’s not totally clear what the patent is for, but it’s already scaring some people.
