Paying $1 Million For A .cc Domain

Okay, so if we’re out of the “dot com” era, perhaps we’ve moved into the “dot cc” era, as some company agreed to pay $1 million for the “beauty.cc” domain. They’re going to turn it into a beauty shop online. Didn’t anyone explain to them that e-commerce is out? I’m surprised that anyone would think a domain like that was worth one million.
