Light Exceeds the Speed of Light
from the very-cool dept
Here’s a funky story. Apparently some experiments have been done which show that light can exceed the speed of light, maybe. One experiment has a a pulse of light that would exit a tube before it even enters the tube (try to figure that one out). The article is very interesting and definitely worth reading.

Now that’s a cool trick. Anyone know why that is?

Maybe they have it set up for “members” of the press or something. [shrug]

Sorry. I post NYTimes stories all the time. I realize that they require registrations, but there are plenty of name/passwords available (such as the one that was posted here). Since the NYTimes does write quality stories, and doesn’t charge, I have no problem posting their stories.
