GM Goes Direct…. But Only Through its Channel

GM (General Motors) recently sent a mandate to its dealers. The mandate stated that the dealers should avoid third party sellers of vehicles such as Carorder.com and Carsdirect.com.

Establishing a relationship? That's rich!

Given the sales staff in any car dealership has a churn of 300%, how EXACTLY are you going to establish a relationship with the salesman?

And, after you buy the car, the relationship is NOT with the sales drone, but the repair department…..exactly how does the buying of the car help the repair relationship?
