New York's View of Silicon Valley

Yesterday the NYTimes had an article on dating in Silicon Valley where they talk about “gold digging” women going after guy entrepreneurs who are too socially inept to know what to do. For some reason, a lot of people sent me that article, and I didn’t post it, because it was lame, and didn’t seem to match with what I know of the valley. I am glad to see that Salon has taken the NY Times to task for that article as well as a similar one recently found in Harper’s Bazaar. It is always amusing to see what folks outside the valley think happens here.
