China's repression of the net

from the let's-all-over-regulate-the-net-but-let-our-companies-have-preferential-treatmen dept

It seems that new laws and regulations on the net may be coming to China. Chinese goverment officials are still touting the that it is illegal for foreign companies to invest in chinese dot coms but many companies are dying to get into the chinese market and therefore have risked investing. To be totally honest, I think what the Chinese government is trying to do shows how corrupt and defunct they still are! To all of those companies investing in mainland China, as long as your company isn’t number one you’ll be okay.
