Wireless chip interconnection

from the look-ma-no-wires dept

Recently, there was an interesting article provided to me by nanogirl news in the EEtimes, it discuses the current practical and theoretical possiblilities behind wireless chip interconnections at speeds of 7.5 Ghz and higher. The range of new devices that these chips could be used to produce is mindboggling, you could interconnect chips with virtually no effort and they could work even when physically separated. I guess it could be classed as a new form of “distributed” computing.
