Microsoft wants closure
from the waiving-the-white-flag dept
It seems that Microsoft wants to bring the anti-trust case to a close as soon as possible. I have to admit that I feel sort of sorry for Microsoft, no one (not even a software monopoly) deserves to be drowned in red tape for such a long period of time. I hope they get their wish, to be honest it’s a real non-issue now anyway.

Last month they WANTED IT dragged out...
I don’t feel sorry for them at all. It wasn’t too long ago, that they were committed to dragging it out, in hopes that in doing so would delay (or deminish) any sort of possible breakup. The more time they have to prepare, the better off they’d be.
I don’t feel sorry at all.

I guess it’s like that saying be careful what you wish for, you just might get it! They might well be getting more anti-competitive stuff in Europe, as the European Commission probes Windows 2000.
