Death of the Portal

An interesting article talking about the idea that the concept of a portal may be going away. The idea being that people will be able to create their own “portals” based on content pulled from many different sources, and thus don’t have to rely on companies like Yahoo to arrange it all for them. Nothing particularly new, but I haven’t seen too many other people bring up this idea in the mainstream press.
