Wireless Cash Registers

Electronic Boutique has installed wireless cash registers in their stores so sales people can check out customers from anywhere in the store. I’ve wondered why they never used these before, but I would think they may become more popular as we move closer and closer to that commercial where the guy just stuffs his pockets with products at a grocery store and walks through a detector of sorts that automatically charges him.
