Amazon Opens For New Stores

Ever expanding Amazon.com has done it again, getting into four new areas: software, video games, gifts, and home improvement. As expected, they’re building these stores themselves and not going out and buying another company (as Beyond shareholders had hoped). I think the home improvement part is interesting, because that doesn’t seem to fit at all with any of their other categories. It will be interesting to see if people accept Amazon as a place to go for home improvement items.
