Webvan and Cobalt IPOs

Well, the two big IPOs of the day did not fail in jumping. Cobalt jumped nearly 500% during the day. However, Webvan, which was the really hyped one only doubled in its debut. While that’s nothing to sneeze at, and does give them a valuation around $9 billion, with all the hype surrounding Webvan, I think that’s a pretty poor showing.
