How many people have I heard say recently that they can’t go away for New Year’s this year since they need to either be at work or “on call” in case civilization ends (or some equivalent). Well, apparently, companies have decided to have fun and exciting parties for all those workers stranded at the office. So, now we’ll have a bunch of drunken, pissed off, office bound employees to save us from darkness, rioting and all the fun that some are expecting. Ought to be a blast.
