Network Solutions Screws Up Again

from the big-surprise-here dept

Network Solutions screwed up again yesterday. They sent out email (possibly spam) to everyone who has registered a domain through them, telling them they now had free email (and who wants free email from Network Solutions? I don’t know). Anyway, turns out that they assigned everyone an email and password but it’s very easy to figure out anyone else’s name and password as they used a very simple naming convention. I keep wanting to believe the people at Network Solutions aren’t dumb, but they do such a good job of proving otherwise.
