What Does Red Hat's Wealth Mean for Linux Community
from the money-changes-everything dept
An interesting article in Time (which I’m sure the Linux faithful will probably say is overblown), discussing what it means for the Linux community, now that Red Hat had such a successful IPO. Does it make Red Hat less trustworthy? Now that they’ve got public shareholders to appease, do they do more for them than the Linux community? I would think the folk at Red Hat know what they need to do, but the media always likes to drum up controversy, and this is probably the best they can do right now.
