Airtouch announced wireless data

Airtouch just announced a new service that will allow you to use your cellphone with your laptop at 14.4K. While you’ve been able to use your cellphone and laptop for a while its always been at 9.6K. I suspect that Airtouch will be aggresive in wireless data services due to its recent merger with European cell giant Vodaphone. Europe is ahead of the US in wireless data roll outs.
