Music IPOs

from the let-the-money-flow dept

Liquid Audio and MusicMaker.com both have imminent IPOs. Coincedently, both companies have strong ties to global recording giant EMI. I’m interested to see how the street reacts to the online music offerings, given that so much still has to be worked out in how digital music will be marketed and distributed.

MusicMaker.com (NASDAQ:HITS) went out today with a bang. The stock traded between $19.5 and $28.125, closing at 23.9375.
