Targeting Disgruntled GeoCities Users

Apparently Warner Brothers is trying to lure away disgruntled GeoCities users with a new banner ad campaign with the text: “Protest! Move out of GeoCities.” I haven’t seen many “direct” attacks on other sites before. Maybe this is the beginning of the mud slinging via banner ad era. How exciting.
