eBay Paging

eBay and Skytel are apparently going to offer users the ability to get auction updates on their pager. I understand that people are a little obsessive over the auctions they participate in, but this seems excessive. Planned for down the road is the ability for users to increase their bid directly from their pager or wireless devices.
