Merchants Leaving Amazon Auctions

from the failed-to-reach-expectations dept

Apparently, a large number of charter merchants for Amazon Auctions have decided to stop selling goods through the auctions as they found it was confusing to many consumers, and they weren’t getting enough return. It seems a little early to just pull out, but I guess in this world of extremely short term views, companies were expecting the world when they signed up to be charter auction merchants. Anything less was disappointing. Amazon is probably right not to be at all worried. The worst that comes of this, though, is the bad publicity of such articles.
