Yahoo Buys Broadcast.com

So, it looks like Yahoo finally got around to buying Broadcast.com. This is not much of a surprise in the long run, but the rumored purchase price of over $5 billion is insane. I can’t figure out how they could possibly worth this much. I realize that Yahoo has a lot of stock money that they can use for acquisitions, and they’re really really really trying to prove that they’re a media company, but $5 billion is crazy.
