NetSlaves

from the another-thing-I'm-sick-of dept

The NYTimes has an article about pissed off at their new media jobs and the site they founded, called Netslaves. While I agree that the mass media often does not cover the millions of people working for internet startups that go no where, you have to be completely naive to believe that going to a startup is definitely going to make you rich and is going to be the thrill of a lifetime. People don’t put enough thought into the process to make sure it’s really right for them. For plenty of people it is, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be a cakewalk to millions. And no, I’m not bitter that I don’t have my millions yet. 🙂
