Let's take your principle (as Tom)

and apply it to your intellectual property, Techdirt. It took you a lot of intellectual work and creativity to make this website. It took you a lot of intellectual work and creativity to get the current level of readership that you now enjoy.

Let's say I were to agree with your premise, that Intellectual Property should be free for everyone. I also have a website, but I don't get nearly the same amount of readers that you do.

You are a fascist government capitalist pig dog if you do not give me your domain name, website, and readership so that I can use your Intellectual Property for the benefit of my blog.

    Nonsense (as Tom)

The only people that are hurt by a fast rate of innovation are the parasites, the looters, the bureaucrats in washington who have to work hard to figure out how to stick their evil greedy fingers into the new technology and use their political power to rake in the cash at our expense.

In the real world, innovation helps everyone, ESPECIALLY the poor.

    AntiTrust is AntiBusiness (as Tom)

Our Antitrust laws make any businessman a criminal simply by doing business. NO mater what action you take, you are violating one or more of the myriad of antitrust laws in this country. They were designed so that politicians could loot companies to satisfy bloodthirsty voters, and that's exactly how they are used.

    Because... (as Tom Utley)

Because that's the way government works. Government takes your money and gives it to their buddies. That's true of all government, federal, state, and local. Government is evil and we have given it too much power.

    LOL (as Tom Utley)

I love how this article is written. Your first mistake is assuming that anything anybody in the Atlanta government does will actually make sense or be based in any sort of reason at all. Atlanta government is a joke and anything they say should be taken as a joke.

Looks like they have a lot in common with the environmentalist lobbyists then!
