I actually had a friend who ate a portion of a vanilla tree air freshener when he was being pulled over after drinking... he said that it made him almost puke, but it got him out of a DWI
So they should be illegal because you can drive under the influence after eating a small portion...
and I would never recommend anyone actually try this... they are poisonous, and my friend was in a desperate situation. And, yes, my friend is actually a friend, not my self.
I am a firm believer that "the customer is always right" went right out the window when businesses started putting up signs that said "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason."
actually the last I heard... if you willingly put yourself out there as a public figure, the lines of slander and libel become extremely wide, thus making it extremely difficult to prove slander or libel. In this case, he would have to prove himself not guilty of whatever is that is being said. I must admit I don't really follow politics and haven't seen the video, but I do have a degree in broadcast journalism, and took a class that covered all the degrees of acceptable slander and libel which can occur to a public figure before a lawsuit can be filed against such free speech.
And after re-reading your comment, the only thing he could stand on is a defamation of character suit, which would not be covered under slander or libel aspects of protected free speech. And even the defamation of character suit is iffy, becuase he's running for president... how many other candidates do you see filing defamation of character suits when their opposition runs a nasty ad campaign against them? not too many.
[EDIT (MARCH 7) According to the terms of the DMCA, they - the service provider - are supposed to replace the content they removed. They haven't done this. I do have a beef with flickr about that, because reposting it doesn't achieve all that replacing would.]
I can't say that I blame him... for having beef with a major service provider like flickr that can't even hack their own pages back into place, or refuse to do so for that matter...
It's not a sin to have bad ethics... but it is a sin to have horrible grammar while trying to bash someone who may or may not have questionable ethics.
Honestly, how do you expect anyone to take you seriously when you can't even get your subjects, predicates and verbs straight? Troll harder!
If the US DoD is approved to legally detain US citizens without cause or merit based on a potential terroristic threat... Can it be safely assumed that these asshats in washington can be arrested for treason?
Just remember, all of you on AT&T they lock all of their phones so you can't even install apps not in the Android MP... I'll be giving the finger to AT&T for that one as soon as my contract is up... Why offer development phones if you can't even install your own APKs? Bad move AT&T but you've seen plenty of posts like that on your own forums and still do nothing about it...
Maybe you should stop screwing your parents and your kin and get your head out of your ass and stop passing stupid laws...
I hope that caused emotional distress to somebodies mothersister. Can I go to jail for that? Oh wait i don't live in TN... so i don't think so... last time i checked we still had some first ammendment rights in MN...
"Harris County District Attorney's spokeswoman Donna Hawkins said both charges are third-degree felonies, punishable by two to 10 years in prison upon conviction."
I guess I would like to know how possession of an unlabeled recording is 3rd degree felony? Anyone got any answers on that one... And as far as the gun goes... no wonder they couldn't find it he was 500+ lbs. and never had to go through a metal detector or be wanded.
Now I know someone who was a prison guard for quite some time... and all the inmates were required to go through metal detectors and be wanded, but she told me there were a few times when some of the larger ones would get in with some sort of metal weapon becuase the metal detectors couldn't penetrate the mounds of fat and flesh...
It wasn't really a study by any foundation or organization... just what i've witnessed for myself living in the heart of the twin cities... very rarely do I find myself driving 55 in a 55, its more like 60 or 65 in a 55... and 70-80 in a 65... and i am not going any slower or faster than the rest of traffic around me.
