The corporation I work for has been paying for employee parking adjacent to the workplace. It appears now that those subsidies encourage people to drive to work, which
must be discouraged, so as to encourage the use of public transport. Of course when the subsidy ends the workers will just pay out of pocket. Net effect: paycut.
