    Havent had any issues on my Sony Player

    While I noticed sign up at Best Buy warning customers there was new software to update their players to play AVATAR this did not hold true for the Sony players. I didnt have to do anything and it played jus fine, I also did not see any trailers or added warnings it went straight to the movies title screen and I clicked play. Maybe all the other brands didnt get their players right the first time, bummer for them..

    I dont think its any different than the goverment going after microsoft for including only internet explorer with windows. You have to leave the door open for competition even if you dont like the product the consumer should be gioven the choice.

    Just because the author bought a Sony is no reason to single them out . All of the manufacturers do the crapware add on. And where sony gives you at least some programs that are worthwhile you can use a lot of manufacturers give you nothing but trials and crapware so lets be fair and not just pick on one brand.
