if this had only been brought forward a couple weeks ago it might have had some influence in the election.
How long until the FBI or whoever starts turning on the webcams and having a look.
Seems someone else was doing that and it worked kind of well.
"Oh Noes...more people eating Mike and Ikes, we definitly have a drug problem" send in the troops"

Disney sued for providing unsteady chairs.

Funny how the seizedservers.com site is using google-analytics to see who is being redirected.
Who knows how someone may use that info collected. If the intent was to inform visitors that the domain name was seized, there really is no need to track.
how long till Apple trademarks "I-"
And the whole alphabet looses a letter.
They put them right back into circulation.

Border Guard. " NO it's ok we donate this stuff to the poor, now you should feel better"
Wonder if they give a tax receipt to the poor person who lost their stuff.
Because of course the poor deserve the crap the privileged can't have.
Reminds me of the plan a while back about giving the road kill picked up from the highways to the food banks.
So In Canada i could see an additional tax on sewing machine sales, and a levy "you might be a criminal tax" on thread.
"At a news conference to announce publication of the Bill, Industry Minister Tony Clement said: "From the computations that we've done, (piracy) destroys billions of dollars of value per year."
I would like to know what Phantom mathematics they use to get those numbers.
I re read the posts from the similar article Nov 2007, where Mike was trying to inform posters about why this process was not perhaps the best choice. I wonder where all of them are now on this latest revision.
as per Mr. Geist who I'll take his opinion as having a high degree of being correct.
"The reality is Canadian law features a private copying exemption that includes a levy on blank media. The Federal Court and the Copyright Board of Canada have intimated the levy, which has generated hundreds of millions of dollars, could apply to personal, non-commercial downloading of sound recordings onto certain blank media. The law therefore opens the door to some legalized music downloading, but it does not cover other content (movies or software) or the uploading of any content."

Note it only is applied to pure sound recordings, it cannot be applied to include movies that have sound tracks.
So as I see it, its legal to download the content if its a music, but not legal to upload it for others.
Maybe its a good thing, then that country will only have one " hello Kitty" type fan site.
Where is that SarcMark when I need it.
I should think its a small group of people who "think" they want choice. It does not seem to be a big topic of conversation in the Canadian Media.
I'm quite happy to pay *choice 1800.00 a year for all the channels, because i don't want choice. I want everything.
I would like it cheaper, and likely it should be, but I don't see how A La Carte would help that at all.
The inclusion of “Texas” in iTexas violates University trademark rights, which guarantee UT ownership of the brand “Texas” when used in reference to the University.
Craig Westemeier, UT assistant athletics director for trademarks and licensing, said that the name could cause confusion among consumers who think the University produced the iTexas application.
I find that very hard to believe, why couldn't it mean a Texas travel app, or Texas pron hub...
And it actually gets worse apparently they trademarked some buildings and the colour Burnt Orange.
someone might want to let Google know, so they can stop the beta, LOLZ
