There will be a time in this country when the majority will know a propagandist is worse than a terrorist. And you should already know the ends don't justify the means.
Lol. I've come to the conclusion that people who beg for regulations are pussies with a capital P. You guys are the worst kinds of pussies too. Politicians are known to be sleazy and crooks but you put them in charge of regulations?? Is it too much responsibility for you to solve these problems through contractual arrangements and not through depending on government regulation?
Not only am I ready to drop timewarner services the instant they roll this out (both my business and residential services) but all the companies they subsidies will not be getting my bushiness as well.
Anyone else worried about the where the bailout money is coming from? When the Fed injects more money into the system, then you have an 'inflated' money supply chasing the same number of goods in the market. How is this not going to led to higher prices for everyone? How is this not punishing people who saved their money?
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
We have drifted so far away from valuing the Constitution...
I wonder what America (heck even the world) would be like if we valued Article 1 Section 10. Specifically the part about nothing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts.
But I guess we have put our trust in Man to produce bills of credit as forced tender...
Obama and friends on Capitol Hill didn't even know the country was in a recession for over 12 months until they got a memo in Dec. '08 None of these politicians has any clue how to create permanent U.S. jobs to build a stable economy. Instead they plan to throw $850 Billion at welfare programs and drive up the national debt. This will just extend the economic depression to a full decade or more.
Indeed there may be a short-term perceived job creation effect but in the end it leads people to believe the immediate burst of job creation moves us in a positive direction for the economy, and they can relax and not change their imbalanced spending/saving behavior.
Our great grandparents (if you are an American descendant) died to protect their rights. Your such a pussy to give them up so easily - wanna know why the world sucks so much today? It's because of jerks like you.
I have no hope anymore. Everything that these 'leaders' are doing are killing any chance we have of a speedy recovery in this financial mess. Not everyone in America values broadband, simply making it available to them [cheaper] won't make them demand it either. Talk about short sightedness.
Cheating...
is what these assholes perfect at Universities.

Patents should only be for people. (as Dave)
Companies should only be licensees of the patent and should not own any rights to it.
War on Drugs (as Dave)
This happens all the time, for example, research done on drugs to justify the War on Drugs.
Re: (as Dave)
That might be the 'real' reason, but shouldn't even be used as the last resort.
Read this short article for explanation.

You're guilty until proven innocent.

You deserve neither liberty or safety. You deserve someone telling you what to do all the time - you're a pathetic use of space.
