Here's a thought: "Warm Bodies" was filmed in Montreal. Are we supposed to be flipping out about possible zombie invasion when we recognise the scenery in the movie?
Here in Montreal, we the people apparently are given to panic over a lot of things. For example, just the other day, Quebec Office of the French Language (which usually only throws hissy fits upon seeing anything written in English) sent a nastygram to the owner of Buonanotte (an Italian restaurant in the trendy Plateau area) complaining about too many Italian words on the menu. Next thing you know, they are going to request us all to change our given names to something non-possibly-panic-inducing, i.e. Frenchier. The way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised.
Maybe it's the worst James Bond ever (barely edging out Timothy Dalton)...
Woah there! Timothy Dalton was far better than either Roger Moore or George Lazenby or even Pierce Brosnan. In fact, Dalton's Bond was the closest to the James Bond from the books.
My understanding is that the reason FBI got involved was because the original complainant asked her FBI friend to take a look at the e-mails she had received. Having read those e-mails, the FBI special friend agent saw that the sender had details of calendar and itinerary of the director of the CIA. Only then did it become an official FBI investigation.
Personally, I think another solution here would be to strenthen the school science requirements and start teaching it earlier as they do in Russia, China, Japan, and some other countries. Teaching something like algebra at an earlier age (in former Soviet Union algebra was being taught starting at grade 4 (10-yr olds)) would be far more beneficial. Younger minds seem to be able to conceptually understand things much bettert than hormone-ravaged teenagers.
This is ridiculous. There's no conflict of interest here. The judge has expressed an opinion. It is understood that judges have personal opinions, in fact they happen to share them during trials and decisions all the time. The job consists of making impartially decisions regarding the legal merits of cases. If, as a matter of fact, judges opinions precluded them from executing their duty, people like Casey Anthony, OJ Simpson, Michael Jackson, Robert Blake, and many others would be behind bars.
As great as things like Spotify are, the problem with wide adoption that I foresee concerns data transmission limitations. One of the perks people in Europe, and especially Scandinavia, enjoy are low mobile rates, including data. That means things can be streamed almost everywhere. With the high cost of data in US and even higher in Canada, not to mention the constant back and forth on UBB, adoption of the streaming service won't be as fast and wide as in other places.
Probably has something to do with the new president whose wife is a telenovela actress. And I'm sure he loves her enough (unless it's true that he also uses her as a punching bag) to arrange to have ACTA signed by using previous presidential appointee as the trigger man.
