What the heck did anyone expect?!?! ... that TSA would continue to do their jobs while part of the crew was feeling up Miss America??? Besides, there aren't enough TSA folks to molest everyone, so they have to be picky about who they assault. Sheeesh!
The web site is about as imaginative as one should expect from an unimaginative politician. Its not horrible, but its not something to shout about either, but then what do you expect. If Tangent can't take criticism then they should find some other business. Now everyone knows what a lack-luster product they have, and its all over the web. Justice has been served up, Internet style!

Wow ... that means that they can tell you exactly how many times his identity wasn't used fraudulently. How is that done? Its like tracking how many people didn't walk into a store, but stayed home, or went to a baseball game. Have they developed the elusive "ANTICIPATOR"?
It seems that those who should be our public servants have become our public masters. How about local governments act to make life easier on their constituents rather than like the scam artists that they really are? Me thinks its time to vote everyone out! ... at all levels!

During most of the last few Tour de France bicycle races, I noticed that the USA team was sponsored by the USPS. The next thing I knew, they were raising the price of a first class letter - several times.
How about they DON't sponsor the USA Tour de France bicycle team and keep the cost of postage down? How about they charge everyone the same for mail delivery? - That would really clean out the SPAM from my snail-mail box.
Ever since the Tour de France sponsorship / postal rate increase, I've switched over to 100% bill paying electronically. When I order something via the Internet, I specify either UPS or FedEX delivery. I'm doing everything I can to put the USPS out of business, which is exactly where they belong.
Yep ... who woulda guessed that the police are abusing the databases. Is the population *THAT* naive? If so, they deserve all of the fallout from police abuse of the databases that the police can dish out. By the way, who is doing surveillance of the police?
Griff is pretty much right on. What it does is delay and/or short change the author of any royalties they might receive from the sale of the e-book version. Maybe the author should find another publisher.
Because of their pricing policies, I will not now, or ever purchase any book (hard cover, soft cover, e-book, etc.) published by Macmillan.
One other thought .... Where do I go to get a pirated copy of the e-book that Amazon took down?
Charging more for the paper could result is lower readership, which is the one thing the advertisers don't want. I bet they paid plenty to get an ad in the Thanksgiving day paper, only to find out the newspaper is going to price gouge on that edition. I'd be somewhat pissed if I were one of those advertisers.

I believe that the states that require a fingerprint card only search for past criminal activity i.e. arrest/conviction records. The state's department of education (or whatever its called in each of the states) needs to verify each teacher's educational credentials before granting the teacher the appropriate teaching certificate for that state. That would pretty quickly cull out the diploma mill customers.
