    How do I turn in Homeland Security for terrorism against the citizens of the USA?

    Sports fan

    I hate to have to pay a huge cable TV fee because of the sports channels (the major cost component). I don't watch sports. As we non-sports watchers drop cable, let the sports fans pay the full load, or let ESPN drop its enormous fees (not likely).

    Hulu?

    Hasn't Hulu already taken a bite out of cable, especially for those of us with big screen monitors? Plus, of course, the convenience of watching away from home. The young saleswoman at the local Apple store told me she got rid of her cable because of Hulu.

    A BBC Radio 2 host, with a long career, today mused that all media will become internet media within 10 years. With the internet I do not have to listen to those miserable local radio stations, nor confine myself to US stations.

    Media = melodrama

    The media prefer melodrama - all good vs all evil - to presentation of pros and cons. Just like entertainment TV, or comic books.

    The right has been very skillful at using all media - including the internet - to feed melodramatic stories on health care to targeted constituents - the elderly, veterans, small business owners, rural and southern people.

    Plus Rupert Murdoch's media have imported the British style of supermarket tabloid story telling into main stream US media.
