George Bush: Questions?
[One man raises his hand]
George Bush: Yes?
UN delegate #2: Are you high, or just incredibly stupid?
George Bush: I assure you I am not high.
The only real "issue", I "have" with the article is the last line: The only way to get them to listen is to truly show them what a lost sale is: "Vote with your wallet."
I don't know if voting with your wallet will effect their decision on DRM.
All that will do (in my opinion), is make them scream "It's the fault of pirating that we're losing money" even louder and then they'll try to make stronger (and/or worse) DRM policies and/or try to buy more politicians to make more stupid, restricting laws.
Again, I could be wrong, but if we look at how they're acting now, just imagine when people really stop buying their crap to protest the DRM.
I agree. The only movies I buy are the comic book ones and the Disney movies. Everything else, I'll wait until it comes out. Making me wait an additional 28 days isn't going to make me buy a movie, I'm not intending to anyway. The only thing that does is annoy me.

I've been to a pizza place in Watsonville, CA like that. Wow.
A couple of things left out of the above story (that I read elsewhere).
Most of the "comics" that the story is referring to, appear to be TPBs or graphic novels.
Also, from what I read, B&N will order the comic for you and have it shipped to your house. So they're not TOTALLY refusing. They just don't want those books in their store.
Which part of me agrees with and part of me thinks is kind of boneheaded.
I agree with the whole notion behind it. If DC won't sell them the e-books, then don't care the actual ones.
But on the other hand, if you don't have the TPB in stock and someone walks in wanting to buy it, that seems like it would hurt B&N (cause I'm sure a lot of people won't want to order it and have it shipped to their house... I mean I could be wrong and they might, but I know I'd rather pick the book up while I'm at the store)...
Re: Re: Good Entertainment
I was going to say, $11 for working at a theater? That's not bad money nowadays.....
I mean it's not great, but that's way more than minimum wage.
Re: Series of Tubes
Until the government and hollywood finaly gets their wish and gets it blocked off.
That's the only way to stop those damn dirty pirates is by getting rid of those damn tubes you're refering to.
With out the tubes, there is NO WAY anyone could copy VHS and audio tapes...
no way at all....
Re:
Not famaliar with this bill (so I could be talking out my arse), but do we really need another law regarding this?
Don't our current laws do enough?

A Damn Dirty Pirate... even back in the day.

Someone should create an App for that. Watch along with your Smartphone and have the actual facts pop up on your phone....
hmmmmm
All about Jobs?!???
I don't see how SOPA or PIPA will help.
Neither one will bring Steve back...
/too soon?
Re:
You sound as if you're just figuring this out.
I've been saying this for YEARS!
Doesn't matter if you're Democrat or Republican. Both sides are equally corrupt and retarded.
The best thing we could do is elimanate ALL politicians.
Re: Excuses
Next it will be "For the Children's jobs!"

Actually it sounds more like a contractual issue between UMG and Will.

Since no one actually answered you, I believe Will.I.Am is in the music group Black Eyed Peas.
He was also in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
