Thing is, that happens daily, and with very little accidents. Everyone is conceited, yet because of that, they make sure they don't crash. You'll be amazed if you were in a taxi going into a tunnel in China. 8 toll booth lanes going into a 2 lane tunnel like a maniac. I'm sure if a crash happened there, all the other drivers would beat the crap outta whoever crashed.
New rule: Any lawyer that files an extremely frivolous lawsuit gets debarred. We save tax dollars, job opportunities in the legal field is opened, and the lawyers don't need to worry about losing their source of income as they are already filthy rich.
What if a pay newsite had a ad-supported version for free? People would see that they would "save money", and won't mind the massive amounts of ads. You just have to disallow Ad-Block.
I don't think Cali will ever do this. Because the Governator believes in getting driving more environmentally friendly cars. Won't get that with this genius idea. In fact, it'll lessen the price of gas for SUVers.
Unless they unbundle IE, there's still a hefty majority of people who don't care enough to install Firefox. They will have to unbundle it to break past the glass ceiling.
Wireless will save us because they can use those channels to hopefully put up a 4G networkish thingy and have a modem that connects to that.
@Bob: Don't forget, Canada is huge. That's why it costs so much for us, because they compensate for people living in the middle of nowhere. Unlike Hong Kong, where a building has 8 units per floor x 40 floors. That's 320 customers in a building. Therefore, less cabling = less costs, = higher speeds.
Please, tell him to play Spore. A legit version that has you guessing the last digit of your CD Key. Please. Ask him how freaking effective it is if he had to guess the CD key to reinstall Windows.
