They won't. Luckily, the Conservatives are relying on the NDP right now, and Olivia Chow is against more draconian copyright laws. Olivia is the wife of Jack Layton. We're safe for now.
Thing is, that happens daily, and with very little accidents. Everyone is conceited, yet because of that, they make sure they don't crash. You'll be amazed if you were in a taxi going into a tunnel in China. 8 toll booth lanes going into a 2 lane tunnel like a maniac. I'm sure if a crash happened there, all the other drivers would beat the crap outta whoever crashed.
New rule: Any lawyer that files an extremely frivolous lawsuit gets debarred. We save tax dollars, job opportunities in the legal field is opened, and the lawyers don't need to worry about losing their source of income as they are already filthy rich.
What if a pay newsite had a ad-supported version for free? People would see that they would "save money", and won't mind the massive amounts of ads. You just have to disallow Ad-Block.

1.2 billion people. Most don't care about the censorship anyways. You can't miss something that was never there. Without the 9/11 attacks, do you think most of America even wants to be in the Middle East?
On the other hand, Americans are so used to pornography that they find it fine. I'm sure poor countries without much internet do fine without porn.
