Google vehemently defends it's actions in keeping back doors open as will most fanboys defend it for doing it.
Eric Schmidt was once quoted in basically stating that anyone working for Google has the ability and access to see users' emails without the use of users' passwords, and the reason people working there don't do it is because he'd know about it immediately and their policy is "don't be evil"...I mean seriously how delusional is that?
"The truth is, most of us discover where we are headed when we arrive. At that time, we turn around and say, yes, this is obviously where I was going all along. It's a good idea to try to enjoy the scenery on the detours, because you'll probably take a few."
Spoken like a true Ohioan :-) Bill also carried this philosophy throughout C&H :-)
In my professional opinions (yes I'm now A+ Cert working on Network+ Cert) he is definitely a loon in spite of the fact that he is right in saying that liquid particle flow in the simulation of blood typically does run video cards ragged...especially with flying gibs...so at least he's right about the video card's/cards' rising temperatures...
The violence stems from the detachment from reality and not knowing between what is real and what is not real. Watching violence doesn't affectively make one violent, but it does make us slightly less prone to sympathizing with victims of violence and abuse if we are exposed to it at an early age.
I cannot wait to see how long it will take before Google Fanboys to defend Google's lax in security over this.
Google apparently no longer uses its spider crawler to help show people the most relevancy possible when they search...Instead they do relevancy in the way most web advertisers do by what and how many things an individual clicks on and move those items up on said individual's search results based on how many times you click a link. They identify you via IP address and hold your search data for up to 9 months. Within the 9 months if you search on Google, they don't delete previous searches at all when the 9 month mark rolls around.
If Google's CEO has the power to internally check any user's e-mails without a password...imagine what these reporters who pointed out the security flaw could have done.
Mike, is there anything in that Press Shield bill that actually protects you as a journalist? I mean let's face it, you guys are getting the same treatment your constituents did in the Nixon years.
This is left field off at first: As for your skepticism about the Obama Administration's sincerity, I don't blame you one bit because this same administration knew about the IRS scandal as early as this year's tax day.
Certain types of flu are preventable by vaccination. The common cold virus is a tough one because it mutates very quickly from carrier to carrier. The Mythbusters did a really great experiment as to why colds spread so easily using a consistent drip mechanism to simulate nasal drip with the dripping end just below Adam Savage's nasal cavities. Through non toxic liquids that shared the consistency of snot, and a non toxic flourescent dye, they discovered and demonstrated that its not about the sneezing but not touching anything, even with a hanky.
So here's the thing. When you are talking about Lifestyle diseases....it makes you sound like a sort of jerk to those of us in the US and UK. A lot of very discriminating very biased people use that term to define AIDS as if it were a lifestyle choice to get it. It is assassinated with homophobia or a coplete lack of knowledge in the basic medical knowledge other countries and their citizens have compared to the US and UK...and trust me...we aren't going to the doctor unless it is persistent and feels abnormal.
The ISP's that filed a joint brief are as follows. TimeWarener, Cox, and Verizon. I am very glad to see this is getting heard. I cannot quite give citation but my gut tells me that the RIAA may be involved with Prenda some how.
I think that this bill is directly designed to allow better consumerism in the market. Currently, cable companies have to spend a lot on specialized equipment to scramble out digital cable signals which are more easily transmitted over QAM. I don't really think cable companies are as big an issue as major broadcasters because cable companies have to pay for extra equipment to descramble signals for us. A truly strong economy is marked by the amount of affordable consumer market spending that con occur without loans. That being said this bill is designed to do just that. It provides us a means to be free of the mercy of broadcasters like Viacom and CBS who demand higher and higher costs for crappy extra channels nobody likes.
I personally think if anyone tried to write these stories from Prenda's point of view the, either A) It would cause a serious author severe writer's block on how to defend Prenda, or B) It would be a really really comedic parody...I think the the latter in that contex is the only thing one could do.
Oh it gets deeper from there....apparently a former RIAA lobbyist who somehow ended up as a Federal Court Justice apparently approved initial discovery on IP Addresses on multiple John Doe's so AFHoldings (AKA Prenda Law, AKA Lightspeed Adult Entertainment/Lightspeed Girls) could get users' personal ID from ISP's....AT&T, COX, TimeWarner, and Verizon all filed a joint brief to the 11th circuit of appeals in the US Supreme Court to have Justice Howell's decision reversed.

1. The more Prenda drags it out, the more they will have to pay in attorney fees to their representatives.
2. It's quite entertaining to see them die very slowly and the defendants not having to pay one cent to their own lawyers is AWESOME.
3. This case will now definitely set the case against the MPAA and especially the RIAA.

Summarization...
We are going to sue Mr. Cooper for defamation.
Prenda in the State of Georgia under Nazzaire:
The defendant is lying...Mr. Cooper doesn't exist.
