  any first year law student can tell ya that. the process of rationalizing the market (from what'is name, the techbook publisher. invented web 2.0)

  and when computers did what they were told to do, not what the gov't wanted them to do. (linux emulated everything from commadore disks to unix programs. NOT a game-boy, eh?)

  Myself, I started complaining about this (codex prob) already.. asking for open source to be included in editing packages.
  (corel is a mickysoft biatch, so the prob'itly o'dat is small)

  legal aid exploded from 30m to 250m since in BC. It's a real law abiding place right now, too. (NOT)
  
  The patent-bubble turf wars (notary publics, etc) will make the birth of the party quebec-quois (12 thieving conservative bagmen dead by car-bomb, apparently) look tame.
  
  the broadcast treaty (anything I can find can be patented as mine), takedown by request (the web);
  
  realistically, and putting a dandelion in a labeled bottle can cost you your house right now. (in canada)
  
  These turf wars are gonna be LOTS of fun.
