Well, if I could rise the money she already did with some artistic work I'd be thrilled... What is a popular artist to you? 100k fans? 1M fans? 100M fans? The one that earns enough to live of his/her work? The one who earn shitloads?

I'll tell what's a popular artist for me. My Industrial Projects teacher had a band and he had recorded a few CDs by the time I attended College. He used to give CDs for free at the Campus and many students liked his artistic works. Many of us went to his shows and yet what he made from his musical career wasn't even close to his wages as a teacher. For me this is being popular. Sure he has just a few thousand fans and doesn't make a lot of money. But he is popular.

And really, who are you to judge if she's smart? Are you capable of living from your artistic work? No? You may be good in your field but again... Who are you to judge?

There has to be a general moral standard, otherwise there would be no reason to place limitations on things and prohibitive actions, e.g. walking around in public naked. Moral relativism is akin to saying that people's sense of right vs wrong is merely an abstraction, a self-delusion, if you will, and that standards in public decency and laws can be decided upon arbitrarily (without the consent of the governed, I might add).

As far as certain people's sexual habits, right, it's not for us to say who's allowed to do what, but nor is it the public school system's to indoctrinate our children into believing whatever they want them to.

do I have a web page or post articles, I am simply a commenter, you don't have to know my name.

BTW: you notice you too are an Anonymous Coward..

the real reason is I don't really give a flying fuck, and I am not putting myself up as someone who is working for some "cause". As this 'writer' has done.

Or they just have too much shame for their friends to know who they are and how stupid there cause is.

Nor do I go to great efforts to hide my name as this person has done..

But if you 'represent' something, and you don't have the balls to put your name on it, then you should reconsider your impact.

and i wouldn't be surprised if, as usual, the court finds against Corporate Europe Observatory. the last thing anyone in a high position wants, regardless of whether it is a person or a organisation/body, is for the public to know what is going on. this is the flavour of 'negotiations' now. the biggest group is the public. the easiest way to stop bad deals is for the public to find out what is happening and how they will be affected in relation to the businesses that are part of the negotiations. even if the court sides with Corporate Europe Observatory, it will be a useless decision if representative groups looking after the public's interests are still omitted from talks or not allowed to have meaningful input that is actually taken notice of. it will be even worse in the talks between the EU and the USA. the EU will be expected to give everything that the USA demands (not asks for! demands!) whilst the USA will expect to give absolutely nothing to the EU, especially when it comes to copyright, patent and trademark violations. all will be to protect, reimburse and profitise USA companies, particularly the entertainment industries and big Pharma companies so generics are prohibited!
