I'll not have one. The idea that internet now won't be required does not address the spying capabilities of the console with microphone and camera included.

That part alone is a guarantee I will never have another console game by any maker much less Microsoft. If one can do it another will as well, whether they come out to say it or not.

Microsoft has done far worse than they think with all this DRM. Not only have the convinced me that I should never ever consider a console from them but from anyone.

No amount of damage control will ever erase these facts from my mind.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seemed that everything they were trying for was derailed since the EU planned to have a few discussions with banning the Xbone due to the restrictions in play.

Is this sarcasm?

"For every year these letters are not sent, millions of dollars are lost for the content creators whose work we all enjoy and consume."

I really hope it is, because most people are aware that there isn't an iota of evidence to support dollars being lost from a lack of copyright enforcement.
In fact the only certain costs to the industries involved regarding copyright infringement are the large amounts of money wasted on bribery, or lobbying and Digital Rights Management that can not, does not and never will impact copyright infringement.

Thankfully while these costs are large the massive amount of money coming into these industries from paying customers, more than makes up for it in a way that makes no sense to anyone who believes that copyright infringement means they can't make money anymore bcos LOOK PIRACY.

Plus, you'll notice, he hasn't mentioned a word about the Fox interns who got nothing. Even if his assertions were correct, he's now arguing the toss over whether or not what you're getting as compensation is acceptably high by whatever random standards he's picked (and based on assumptions he is clearly plucking out of thin air), rather than discuss actual cited court documents of wrongdoing.

As if proof were needed, he's not interested in reality. He just wants to attack imaginary Mike, rather than get into the actual discussion about Fox paying nothing.
I suspect the devkits they received weren't quite filled with the features touted since Microsoft was planning to handle the online portion (sharing, reselling) themselves.
