<content:encoded><![CDATA[The publishers have all pointed out that the announcement of a online-mostly console and the ability to restrict used game sales was kind of a surprise to them. They didn't even have a position beyond "Umm, yeah, we actually never heard of this before hand..."<br />

I suspect the devkits they received weren't quite filled with the features touted since Microsoft was planning to handle the online portion (sharing, reselling) themselves.<br />

I'll give Microsoft the benefit of the doubt over this, if someone tries to redeem themselves, I can at least look over to them and try and be understanding.]]></content:encoded>
