$600 Per Week For WiFi?
By this point in the life of WiFi, you would think that most places would have figured out the economics of offering WiFi and making customers/visitors happy to come back in the future. Apparently not. While there have been a lot of stories recently about how nicer hotels all charge ridiculous sums for WiFi and cheap motels offer it for free, this article points to a ridiculous extreme. The San Diego Convention Center offers WiFi at the bargain basement price of $600 per week. Well, at least you know there won't be too many others eating up all that bandwidth.
