Just How Old Are These "Students" Anyway?
One of the many ringtone firms out there (not worth giving them extra publicity by stating their name) got Reuters to put out what is mostly a reworded press release about their top back to school ringtones -- which are all audio clips from various movies. What's odd, though, is that clearly the "back to school" clips are targeted at students, but three of the four movies listed as being at the top of the list are more than twenty years old. Seriously. Animal House? Fast Times at Ridgemont High? Breakfast Club? These sound a lot more like the types of ringtones someone in their 30s would have for nostalgia reasons than kids would have today.
