3G services aren't taking off too quickly, a new report from a research firm says, because prices are too high and applications not compelling enough. That shouldn't come as a surprise, given the importance of cost to mobile subscribers, and the abject failure of 3G applications like video calling. People don't especially care about technology when it's without useful applications, and it's doubly damned if it comes at a high price.
