It Took This Long To Realize That Mobile Viruses Are Hyped?
Most folks with any wireless knowledge figured out a while back that all of these reports about mobile viruses (almost always from anti-virus companies) were blown way out of proportion. However, it's taken all of this time for a research firm to point out that no one really needs to worry much about mobile malware for another two years or so. Of course, that won't stop the anti-virus folks from hyping it up -- and it won't stop most people from getting scared about it, and possibly spending money on mobile anti-virus software they probably don't need.
