Mobile Data... Not So Fast
Once again, it seems like people within the mobile data space have gotten a bit carried away. Despite widespread mobile adoption (some say it's close to over 100% handsets-to-people in the UK), apparently 77% have never used any mobile data service, and only 12% say they're happy with the mobile data offerings they have. This isn't to knock the idea of mobile data services -- but the current implementations obviously need a lot of work, and the companies offering them need to learn how to better market them. Most people still buy handsets to be "phones" first, and anything else second. It often seems like people get too focused on the data aspect, and forget that it's a secondary concern to many people.
