One of the more amusing things in reading all of the coverage about the Bluetooth-UWB link up was that most reporters seemed to focus only on how this was necessary for Bluetooth, the technology that is already quite entrenched, to deal with UWB, a technology that still doesn't exist and has been stymied for years over an incredibly nasty standards battle.
