Bluetooth UWB Relationship Works Both Ways
One of the more amusing things in reading all of the coverage about the Bluetooth-UWB link up was that most reporters seemed to focus only on how this was necessary for Bluetooth, the technology that is already quite entrenched, to deal with UWB, a technology that still doesn't exist and has been stymied for years over an incredibly nasty standards battle. While we tried to point out how the relationship helps both sides, Peter Judge, recognizing the unbalanced coverage in most places, has written up a good article focusing on a few of the reasons why UWB needs Bluetooth, rather than the other way around.
