Yahoo! Mobile in Link Deal On Nokia Phones

Yahoo has struck a deal to put a Yahoo! Mobile link on a handful of phone models from Nokia. Everyone knows that the default bookmarks see a great deal more traffic than user-customized bookmarks and services, so this is a boost to Yahoo's mobile presence. Yahoo will offer e-mail, mobile search services and entertainment content including ringtones, wallpaper, and games on Nokia Series 60 models 6680, 6681, and 6630 shipped to 10 European and Asian markets. It's likely a good sum of Kroners changed hands to buy that real estate... or perhaps "rent" the real estate is a better term --> Carriers who order phones from Nokia always have the option of erasing the Yahoo! link before distributing the handsets, directing subscribers instead to their own portal of services. It'll be interesting to see how often this happens.
