Free WiFi No Longer News
We stopped writing long ago about various places offering WiFi (free or not) because it seemed to lose being a "story" a few years ago. It appears others are realizing the same thing. News.com's executive editor noticed today that he barely even registered the fact that a coffee shop he entered now had free WiFi. What's most interesting about this is how it just sort of happened without most people noticing. Offering WiFi in a coffee shop or restaurant has just sort become so natural that it's just not news any more... and that fact seems like news to some.
