Dumb WiFi Security
George Ou is apparently quite sick of hearing stupid ways to secure WiFi networks (many pitched by so-called "security experts") and has decided to put together a list of the six dumbest ways to "secure" a WiFi network -- and the biggest surprise may be that WEP protection doesn't make the list. Still, many people view WiFi security as a "calculated risk." They recognize that the solutions aren't secure, but also believe they're unlikely to be a direct target -- so just raising the bar a bit can make them an even less likely target.
