CTIA Worried About Legislation

The CTIA is (no surprise here) quite worried about all the legislation that's been proposed to regulate the wireless industry -- as well they should be. Having a thousand different local laws makes it very difficult and very expensive to comply across all the different ones. However, they're being a bit disingenuous by lumping all of the various proposed legislation together, and simply saying "no legislation is needed." There are clear cases where the industry is abusing its position, and self-regulation hasn't done the trick. In those few cases where there must be regulation, national regulation makes a lot more sense, than local regulation as it keeps everything on an even playing field.
